British Rail a state owned railway was privatised in the 90’s and the railway system is now run by a number of different companies. There are a number of rail terminuses in London which are connected to the Underground (Subway) system. The terminus you use will depend on the destination of your journey. There is an overlap so it may be possible to get a train to a destination from more than one London terminus
