Tee off in style with a round or two of golf and savour unique views of “the loveliest castle in the world” - Leeds Castle, near Maidstone, Kent.
Set in 500 acres of picturesque countryside, the mature parkland golf course has nine holes and was originally built in 1924 by Lady Baillie, the last private owner of the castle.
A 33-par course, it was re-designed in 1997 by Senior PGA golf professional, Neil Coles MBE, and is available for the enjoyment of everyone as handicap certificates are not required.
Golf lessons for groups or individuals in half hour or nine-hole playing sessions are available with the castle’s own teaching PGA professional, Steve Purves.
Leeds Castle also offers tailor-made corporate and society golfing packages from the small informal day out to a large business hospitality events.
The castle golf centre has a well-stocked golfer’s shop with top brands such as Foot-Joy, Titlelist, Sun Mountain and Wilson.
All green fees include free entry to castle gardens and other attractions such as the aviary, yew-tree maze, vineyard and unique dog collar museum.
Leeds Castle is four miles east of Maidstone and clearly signposted from Junction 8 of the M20.
